The India Awakens Conference will take place in Kolkata, India, on Sunday, February 12, 2017, from 10am to 7pm, in the Shivananda Hall of the Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture (RMIC). The audience will be admitted free of charge.
After an opening address given by RMIC Secretary Swami Suparnananda Maharaj, distinguished speakers including Prof. Ralph Abraham, Prof. Robert Geraci, Dr. Ben Goertzel, Dr. Amit Goswami, Prof. Sisir Roy, and Prof. Frank Tipler, will explore the intersections of science and spirituality, technology and religion, physics and theology, the East and the West. The audience will be admitted free of charge. Please write (india-awakens@turingchurch.net) to reserve your place. Some speakers will be in Kolkata, and others will give their talks and answers online over the Internet. Some video discussions and Q/A with the speakers have already been produced and shared, and others will premiere at the Conference.
